Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Trailer and Hardened and Prestige Editions Announced!
Perhaps the most anticipated game this year finally got a Multiplayer trailer as well as the announcement of a Hardened and Prestige edition of the game, during it’s official reveal at LA in August.
The trailer shows a selection of game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Free for All and Search and Destroy as well as 2 new game modes. Search and Rescue which is a sort of team elimination game where by collecting dog tags you can eliminate enemy players from the game or bring back one of you eliminated allies into the game again. Then Cranked, in this game mode when you kill an enemy player you gain faster movement, reload and aiming however if you don’t kill another enemy with a 30 second time limit, you explode!
The maps shown in the trailer all appear to be dynamic, players can blow up walls and other objects spread across the map to dispose of enemies or create new access points, Squad building is also shown suggesting that squad battles will be coming to multiplayer.
And with any new Call of Duty game comes a new assortment of weapons for you to choose from, be it assault rifles, sniper rifles or shotguns – Call of Duty has it all.
Two new editions were also announced during the reveal. The hardened edition which comes with the Season Pass for all DLC, a 10ft paracord strap for you to carry around, a steelbook case for the game a host of in game items such as a player patch, player card and player background and then the official Call of Duty: Ghost soundtrack. Then they have the prestige edition which offers everything you get in the hardened version of the game, along with a High Definition tactical camera that can record video in 1080p.
The game is released November 13th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One copies to be released at a later date, no official prices have been giving for current and next generation console versions of the game.
