Ed Boon responds to Arkham Knight and Injustice 2 confusion
Ed Boon has provided a brief response surrounding confusion of the release dates of Batman Arkham Knight and the rumoured sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us.
According to a report from Den of Geek on April 29, a fan asked the game director if a second installment of the Injustice series is currently in development. He then responded, jokingly stating that the development team have called the video game “Injustice: Gods Among Us Too”.
Despite not confirming the sequel’s existence, a report from Furious Fan Boys suggests that representatives at DC Comics seemingly disclosed that the product is in production during a recent event. The announcement was apparently made during a panel at Wonder Con. However, the attendees could not hear the statement due to the loud cheers and this resulted in some of them then believing that Batman: Arkham Knight was being delayed until 2015.
Injustice: Gods Among Us came out last year for PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and mobile platforms. Batman Arkham Knight still appears to be releasing this year. It will be available for PS4 and Xbox One.
